Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Pennsylvania seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee motor modification production and support teams across locations.

This role actively supervises processes, assigns tasks, troubleshoots issues, and drives improvements in department workflows to meet quality and delivery targets. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (associate preferred) and 5 years' experience in motor production or related gearboxes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising motor modification production and crews.
• Knowledge of SAP and standard industrial safety practices.
• Ability to mentor staff and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjust team workload to meet production targets.
• Provide tools, training, and standardized processes for daily ops.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure workflow and timetables.
• Mentor junior team members and train new hires; promote mentoring.
• Interview, hire, train, and guide staff in line with policies.
• Maintain clean, professional production areas and enforce safety.
• Drive process improvements and monitor performance against goals.
• Develop training plans and ensure materials/tools meet schedules.
• Participate in departmental meetings to discuss scheduling and quality.
