Qualifications

• Safely operate a motor grader in heavy civil construction to level and shape subgrades.
• Use laser systems and reference stakes to achieve exact elevations.
• Set blade depth, angle, and tilt.
• Minimum five (5) years construction experience.
• Minimum two (2) years operating a motor grader.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain equipment and perform maintenance as needed.
• Be capable and willing to maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl.
• Ability to correctly rig and hoist material.
• Ability to tolerate heights without fear.
• Ability to maintain balance.

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods, under extreme weather conditions (cold and wet).
• Able to work long, irregular hours, six to seven days per week, 50 to 70 hours per week.

You will perform rough and finish grading, level and spread materials, and ensure work meets exact grade and slope specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to safely and effectively operate a Motor Grader/Blade in Heavy Civil construction setting in precise passes to level, shape and smooth subgrades.
• Use technology, laser systems and reference grade stakes to achieve exact project elevations and drainage.
• Set and regulate blade depth, angle, and tilt.
• Minimum five (5) years construction experience.
• Minimum two (2) years operating a Motor Grader/Blade.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment in an efficient manner and follow instruction of on-site management.
• Follow all equipment monitoring and maintenance requirements.
• Be capable and willing to maintain equipment as needed.
