Job summary

appflame is a Ukrainian IT company building world-class products with a global reach. We are expanding our motion design team to support an AI utility product used by a broad audience.

As a Motion Designer, you will create short-form video ads, craft animations from typography and graphics, and adapt creatives for various formats and placements. You will work closely with Marketing and other designers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6–18 months of commercial motion design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects.
• Solid understanding of composition, typography, color and animation principles.
• Able to work from briefs and references.
• Detail-oriented and receptive to feedback.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced creative production environment.
• Eager to grow and take on more responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Create short-form video ads for performance campaigns based on briefs and creative concepts.
• Create animations using typography, UI elements, graphics, product assets, and other visual materials.
• Adapt and iterate creatives for different concepts, formats, audiences, and placements.
• Independently handle standard creative production tasks.
• Work closely with Creative Marketing Managers and other Motion Designers.
• Implement feedback and continuously improve the quality and speed of your work.
• Analyze references and advertising trends to develop your visual and creative skills.
• Participate in creative discussions and gradually contribute your own ideas.

Your project:

You will join an AI utility product with a global user base, built inside our R&D team. The product is growing fast, and we're looking to strengthen our motion design team!

You will:

• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced creative production environment.
• Are motivated to grow professionally and take on more responsibility over time.
