Job summary

Actalent in Torrance, CA is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to promote sub-fractional horsepower motors, drives, and motion control products. You will engage engineers and designers, develop solutions, and present customer quotations.

You will manage existing accounts, forecast sales, and contribute to marketing and training initiatives while collaborating with other departments to drive growth. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Sell sub-fractional horsepower motors, drives, and motion control products to engineers and technicians.
• Maintain and grow sales with existing customers and forecast sales in territory.
• Prepare quotes, presentations, and reports; train distributors and reps as needed.
• Provide technical support on operation of motors and related products and track payments with AR.
