Methodist Childrens Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Mother Baby Unit. The CNC will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, coordinate unit functions, and supervise nursing staff during the shift.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• RN qualification (Registered Nurse)
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or RN Diploma

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork for improved outcomes
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery
• Implements nursing strategies to improve engagement and staff rounding
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selection, training, and performance evaluations
• Manages staff scheduling and labor productivity
• Monitors inventory control and supplies/equipment management
