You will collaborate with the management team to monitor quality, coach staff, and ensure adherence to policies that support outstanding outcomes. The role emphasizes leadership, staff scheduling, training, and resource management, with a focus on a patient-first philosophy and service excellence.

Qualifications

• RN with Registered Nurse Diploma and state license.
• Postpartum and leadership experience.
• ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications required within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create an environment of teamwork.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies to improve engagement through rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training staff and handling performance actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor according to patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and helps manage supplies and equipment.
