Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Mother Baby RN for the Night shift to join a Magnet-recognized team dedicated to high-quality patient care. The role focuses on comprehensive assessment, precise documentation, and adherence to Standards of Care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates hold NJ RN licensure, with BSN preferred and required within three years. BLS and NRP Part I are mandatory, with Part II to be completed during orientation.

Qualifications

• RN license in New Jersey is required.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire date.
• BLS certification is required by policy.
• NRP Part I certification is required.
• NRP Part II certification to be obtained during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

The Mother Baby RN Nights will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II obtained during clinical orientation

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
