Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System is seeking dedicated Mother Baby RN Nights to provide compassionate, high-quality care in the mother-baby unit. The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork, precise assessments, adherence to established Standards of Care, safe administration of medications, and meticulous documentation of patient care.

New Jersey license is required with BLS certification; BSN preferred or to be completed within three years.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• NRP Part I certification required; Part II obtained during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

The Mother Baby RN Nights will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards

• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II obtained during clinical orientation

Salary Range:45.00 - 60.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
