Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System in New Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a Mother-Baby RN for night shifts to join a Magnet-recognized team delivering premier maternal care.

You will assess patients, administer medications, document thoroughly, and follow Standards of Care. Active NJ RN licensure is required; BLS is required; BSN preferred or to be completed within 3 years; NRP Part I is required and Part II will be completed during orientation.

Qualifications

• RN license in New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire date
• BLS certification required by AHA
• NRP Part I certification required
• NRP Part II certification obtained during orientation

The Mother Baby RN Nights will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II obtained during clinical orientation

Salary Range: 45.00 - 60.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
