Job summary

Madisonhealth’s Mother Baby Unit seeks a Health Unit Coordinator to provide essential support in a PRN role. The position coordinates communication, organizes patient records, and assists with daily unit operations to ensure a positive care experience for patients and families.

Qualified candidates may have CNA experience in Idaho and current BLS certification. The role offers 12-hour shifts on a PRN basis, with the unit focusing on reliable patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in Idaho preferred.
• BLS current (must have within 6 months of being hired).
• Previous CNA experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate written and verbally.
• Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support communication among patients, families, nurses and medical staff.
• Organize patient records and enter/manage information.
• Assist with daily unit operations and overall unit workflow.
• Support department improvement activities and follow hospital policies and procedures.
