Pointe Pest Control is a PestCo family company, hiring a Mosquito Technician to join our West Chicago branch. You will manage routes, perform yard treatments, and estimate one-time and ongoing services for residential and commercial clients.

The role requires a high school diploma, preferred mosquito control experience, and an Illinois license. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check are required. Sign-on bonus is offered for licensed technicians in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.
• Illinois Department of Agriculture mosquito license may be required for sign-on bonus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mosquito control route day to day operations.
• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.
• Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance to customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by recommending the most effective pest solution.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain vehicle, uniform, PPE, paperwork, and literature in good order.
• Devote full attention to duties during working hours as directed by supervisor.

Position Type: Full-Time, Seasonal

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays Required)

Compensation: $36,000 - $60,00 + Commision

Key Responsibilities

A Pest Control Mosquito Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:

• Manage a mosquito control route day to day operations.


• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.


• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.


• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.


• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.


• Use all safety equipment as instructed.


• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.


• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.


• ***$750.00 Sign on bonus for licensed mosquito technicians with the Illinois Department of Agriculture


• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.


• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.


• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.


• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.


• Self-motivated and results driven.


• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.


• Pass a background check and drug screen.


• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License
