Job summary

Pointe Pest Control is seeking a full-time, seasonal technician based in West Chicago, IL. You will conduct yard treatments for mosquito control, provide treatment estimates, and schedule and complete customer appointments in line with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a Pest Control License, a valid IL driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient pest solution for each customer’s needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including vehicle, uniform, PPE, paperwork, and literature.

Position Type: Full-Time, Seasonal

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays Required)

Compensation:$36,000 - $60,000 + Commision

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ***$750.00 Sign on bonus for licensed mosquito technicians with the Illinois Department of Agriculture
• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License
