Pointe Pest Control is part of the PestCo family and seeks a Mosquito Technician to deliver pest remediation and prevention for commercial or residential sites. You will manage routes, perform yard treatments, and advise on one-time and ongoing treatments with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The position is full-time, seasonal, based in West Chicago, IL, with Monday–Friday schedule and some Saturdays. Compensation ranges from $36,000 to $60,000 plus commissions; a $750 sign-on bonus is offered

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.
• Pest Control license or experience beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mosquito control route day to day operations.
• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.
• Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time per company policies.
• Advise customers with the most effective pest control solutions for their needs.
• Use safety equipment and maintain vehicle, PPE, and paperwork in order.

Compensation: $36,000 - $60,00 + Commision

Key Responsibilities

A Pest Control Mosquito Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:

• Manage a mosquito control route day to day operations.


• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.


• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.


• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.


• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.


• Use all safety equipment as instructed.


• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.


• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.


• ***$750.00 Sign on bonus for licensed mosquito technicians with the Illinois Department of Agriculture


• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.


• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.


• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.


• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.


• Self-motivated and results driven.


• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.


• Pass a background check and drug screen.


• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License
