Job summary

PestCo is seeking a Pest Control Mosquito Technician to provide pest remediation and prevention solutions for residential and commercial properties. Location: West Chicago, IL. Schedule: Mon-Fri with some Saturdays; full-time, seasonal. Compensation ranges from $36,000 to $60,000 plus commissions.

Responsibilities include route management, yard treatments, and customer-facing estimates while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Valid IL license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.
• $750 Sign on bonus for licensed mosquito technicians with the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and kneel/bend as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest control experience or pest control license.

Compensation: $36,000 - $60,00 + Commision

Key Responsibilities

A Pest Control Mosquito Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:

• Manage a mosquito control route day to day operations.


• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.


• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.


• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.


• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.


• Use all safety equipment as instructed.


• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.


• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.
