Job summary

Pointe Pest Control is part of PestCo’s family of companies and is expanding in Illinois. This full-time, seasonal role involves managing a mosquito control route, performing yard treatments, and providing accurate estimates for customers.

A short assessment is required for consideration, and a license may be preferred for Illinois technicians. Competitive compensation ranges with commission, potential sign-on bonus, and full PestCo benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Location: Branch: West Chicago, IL 60185

Position Type: Full-Time, Seasonal

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays Required)

Compensation: $36,000 - $60,000 + Commision

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a mosquito control route day to day operations.
• Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer’s individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mosquito pest control experience preferred.
• ***$750.00 Sign on bonus for licensed mosquito technicians with the Illinois Department of Agriculture
• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License
