Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Residential Mortgage Underwriting area and provide guidance on conventional, government and Portfolio loan programs.
• Supervise Underwriters and staff; manage HR aspects including hiring and annual reviews.
• Maintain accreditation in loan programs (DE and SAR) and participate in required continuing education.
• Develop and update underwriting procedures; ensure compliance with guidelines and audits.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Product Development to deploy new products and review policies.
