Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to support originators by building complete loan files for submission and handling Lead to Contract and Contract to Close tasks. You will coordinate appointments, pull web applications, update credit reports, and manage compliance-related documents with strong attention to detail.

The role emphasizes customer service, timely communication, and accurate data handling within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with at least 1 year experience in mortgage lending or related field.
Does not require an active MLO license.
Strong detail orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and responsive with customers and referrals.
Proficiency in data entry and standard office software (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

Assist originator with setting appointments for prospective and new applicants.
Pull and prep web applications, update credit reports, and prepare AUS findings.
Monitor loan milestones, send forms and disclosures, and collect required documents.
Maintain databases and coordinate marketing materials and realtor emails.
Provide status updates to referrals and customers while ensuring privacy policies.
Act as a primary contact and deliver quality customer service throughout the process.
