Job summary

Coley Rau Team at CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to manage loan files from application through closing, acting as the main contact between clients, the Branch Manager, and the assigned Loan Originator.

You will review documentation within 24 hours, resolve discrepancies, track documents in Encompass, run DU/LP, and ensure timely completion while delivering superior service to borrowers and realtors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience preferred in mortgage loan processing.
• Experience with conventional fixed and ARM, HELOC, and construction mortgage loan processing preferred.
• Knowledge of RESPA and lending regulations preferred.
• Encompass experience preferred.
• NMLS license desired.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Office & Windows.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact and liaison between clients, Branch Manager, Branch Sales Manager and assigned Loan Originator(s).
• Review documentation received within 24 hours of receipt for discrepancies, omissions, verified income calculation, asset verification, and Encompass updates based on verified information; immediately notify Loan Originators of discrepancies found on documentation.
• Track all requested documents in Encompass.
• Collaborate with Loan Originators in resolving problems in files and documents.
• Run DU, stacks and submits files, requests and clears conditions.
• Efficiently meet deadlines while maintaining multiple assignments/projects.
• Provide superior customer service both internally and externally.
• Communicate with both borrowers and realtors.
• Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
