Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Transaction Coordinator in Illinois to support loan origination by building complete loan files for submission and handling lead-to-contract and contract-to-close tasks. Qualifications

• Minimum one year total experience in Mortgage lending or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized.
• Proficiency with data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead to Contract and/or Contract to Close duties.
• Assist originator with appointment setting and lead callbacks.
• Manage client databases and coordinate pre-qualification/link substitutions.
• Pull, prep and update credit reports and AUS findings for licensed teammates.
• Monitor loan dates and coordinate documents for processing and closing.
• Provide status updates to referral sources and customers.
• Maintain compliance-friendly communication with customers and referrals.
• Order required verifications and prepare loan applications for processing.
