Job summary

CapCenter in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Administrator to manage escrow, payment processing, and custodial accounting for our mortgage servicing portfolio. You will ensure compliance with servicing guides and maintain accurate borrower records.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of mortgage servicing experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and FICS Mortgage Servicer.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in mortgage loan servicing operations.
• Experience with escrow administration, including tax and insurance disbursements.
• Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, Regulation E, and GSE servicing requirements.
• Experience with mortgage servicing platforms, preferably FICS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Escrow Administration: perform annual escrow analyses, process disbursements, monitor escrow balances, manage cushion calculations, track loss drafts.
• Payment Processing & Loan Administration: process borrower payments, manage suspense accounts, handle ACH enrollments and corrections, assist with loan boarding, generate borrower statements and tax documents.
• Custodial Accounting & Reporting: support custodial account reconciliations, investor remittance files, and reporting.
• Compliance & Quality Control: execute servicing in line with regulatory guides, participate in QA reviews, maintain audit trails.
• Borrower Communication & Support: respond to borrower inquiries about escrow and payments, draft correspondence, support loss mitigation intake.
