Job summary

MidFirst Bank is seeking an administrative/clerical professional to organize and support mortgage servicing transfers and related contract management. You will assist from onboarding through successful servicing transfer, including preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing checklists, and coordinating with Sellers and external Counterparties.

Role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with familiarity in transaction workflows

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or strong commensurate experience would be considered.
• Experience with mortgage servicing is a plus but not required.
• Project management skills are a plus but not required.
• Previous experience or internship in a corporate legal environment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support mortgage servicing transfers from onboarding to post-closing.
• Prepare, review, and organize legal documents related to transactions, including contracts, agreements, and closing documents.
• Maintain and update transaction checklist to ensure deadlines and requirements are met prior to, during, and post-closing.
• Coordinate and conduct routine meetings with Sellers throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Identify onboarding counterparty issues and communicate them.
• Support onboarding and closing timeline with external counterparty.
• Manage, coordinate, and track closing and post-closing matters effectively.
• Provide support to Management, Analysts, and Corporate Technology on servicing transfer reporting, infrastructure and workflow.
• Communicate details of upcoming servicing transfers with internal and external stakeholders including executed agreements and transfer instructions.
• Drafting, reviewing, and approving prior servicer claims and related letters, reporting, and mediation of appealed claims.
• Provide management with guidance on interpretation and contract application to loan-level scenarios.
