Job summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Escrow Oversight Specialist in Florida to manage daily remittance and reconciliation with escrow vendors. The role ensures accurate vendor payments, GL reconciliation, and timely responses to insurance and tax issues.

The incumbent will communicate with third party vendors, monitor exception reports, and support audits while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school education minimum.
• Associates degree or 4–6 years of related mortgage servicing experience required.
• Experience with mortgage escrow, insurance, taxes, and force placed insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between Mortgage Loan Servicing and escrow vendors; daily remittance and reconciliation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and verify vendor remittance vouchers.
• Monitor and resolve monthly exception reports and escalations.
• Communicate risks and opportunities with third party vendors daily/weekly.
• Apply mortgage servicing knowledge to respond to insurance/tax issues and maintain compliance.
• Provide periodic up-training to staff on insurance/tax third party vendors.
• Support audits and assist leadership with regulatory exams.
