Job summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Escrow Oversight Specialist to act as the liaison between Mortgage Loan Servicing and escrow vendors, ensuring timely remittance and accurate reconciliations. You will monitor risks, review exception reports, and support audit activities within a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, Excel proficiency, and knowledge of mortgage escrow components.

Qualifications

• High school education is the minimum requirement.
• Associates degree or 4–6 years of related mortgage servicing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage escrow accounts, homeowners’ insurance, taxes, force placed insurance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely remittance and reconciliation of payments to escrow vendors.
• Run daily ALTINS for proper insurance payments processing.
• Communicate with third party vendors daily/weekly.
• Identify risks/challenges and work with vendors to resolve.
• Respond to monthly exception reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Explain and apply mortgage servicing knowledge (flood, hazard, taxes).
• Assist with audits and cross‑functional department needs.
