Job summary

Ideal candidates have a Law Degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with adept research skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and US bar admission.
• 1–3 years in mortgage servicing regulatory work.
• Licensed to practice law, in good standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Translate complex regulations into practical docs.
• Experience with mortgage servicing documents and borrower communications.
• Familiarity with investor requirements and government regs.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely legal support to divisions while minimizing risk.
• Offer practical legal guidance on mortgage servicing docs and compliance.
• Research and interpret federal/state mortgage servicing laws.
• Review and maintain servicing documents and forms for compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on processes.
• Collaborate with operations, product, tech, and compliance teams.
• Respond to clients' legal and compliance questions.
