Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Sales Supervisor in Temecula, CA to lead a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators and oversee day-to-day loan origination activities.

You will ensure timely collection of documents for processing, underwriting, and closing, meet annual volume targets, and build referral networks with real estate brokers and builders. Collaboration across business lines is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of mortgage sales experience.
• Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of sales and sales strategies.
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage products/services, operations, and current market trends.
• Familiar with underwriting requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local programs, and private investors.
• Knowledge of laws (e.g. Truth-in-Lending, RESPA).
• Strong customer service/relations skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to analyze financial information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day loan origination activities for a small team.
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured timely.
• Meet annual loan origination volume goals.
• Establish referral relationships with real estate brokers, builders, and other external sources.
• Participate in local/state mortgage associations and stay informed on industry issues.
• Collaborate with U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other lines to grow customer relationships and product sales.
• Interview and recruit new talent; retain staff through development and engagement.
• Maintain NMLS registration and comply with SAFE Act and Regulation Z.
