Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a Mortgage Sales Support Manager to lead a small team of LOA Assistants and support Mortgage Loan Originators in delivering efficient loan origination. The role focuses on pipeline management, customer experience, and collaboration with mortgage partners.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years in mortgage banking, with SAFÉ registration. Remote work options are available; compensation ranges reflect market expectations for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in mortgage banking, or mortgage lending environment, preferably in sales.
• Requires S.A.F.E registration at time of employment and maintain current registration.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the LOAs to support MLOs through the loan process.
• Mentor LOAs to ensure seamless customer communication.
• Assist MLOs to optimize performance via daily pipeline reviews and rate lock expirations.
• Onboard and train new sales associates on policy, LOS, and daily tasks.
• Be proficient in credit bureau software to pull and reissue reports.
