Job summary

U.S. Bank in California is seeking a Mortgage Loan Origination Supervisor to lead a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators.

You will oversee day-to-day origination activities, ensure timely collection of documents for processing, underwriting and closing, and drive loan volume through strong relationships with brokers and builders. The role requires knowledge of mortgage products, pricing and underwriting standards, and the ability to recruit and retain talent while maintaining compliance with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two+ years of mortgage sales experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, operations and market trends.
• Understanding of underwriting for FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA and local programs.
• Strong new business development and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day origination activities for a small team.
• Secure documents for processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Meet annual loan origination goals.
• Develop referral sources from real estate brokers and builders.
• Recruit and develop loan-originator staff.
