Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a Mortgage Sales Support Manager to supervise a team of LOAs and assist Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) to grow loan productivity while delivering an excellent customer experience.

You will train, mentor, and manage the daily pipeline, optimize performance, and ensure smooth loan delivery through the LOS, CRM, and credit bureau tools. This remote role emphasizes collaboration with mortgage leadership and partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years’ mortgage banking experience, preferably in Sales.
S.A.F.E registration required at employment time and kept current.

Responsibilities

Train and supervise LOAs for best execution in loan origination tasks.
Mentor LOAs to support internal partners and smooth customer communication.
Assist MLOs to optimize performance via daily pipeline reviews and rate lock management.
Onboard and train sales associates on policy, LOS, and daily tasks.
Utilize credit bureau software to pull/re-issue reports as needed.
Measure results with sales scorecards and spreadsheets.
Support CRM usage for flyers and marketing materials.
Develop relationships with mortgage partners for training opportunities.
Track referral sources to maximize sales opportunities.
Guide MLOs with AUS findings, loan restructuring, and file resolutions.
Communicate mortgage origination activities and needs to leadership.
