Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a supervisor for a small Mortgage Loan Originator team. You will oversee daily origination activities, ensure timely document handling for processing and closing, and build referral networks with brokers, builders, and real estate partners.

You will recruit and mentor new talent, working across U.S. Bank Home Mortgage to grow customer relationships. The role requires NMLS registration, background and credit checks, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of mortgage sales experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop mortgage loan originators.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products/services and market trends.
• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities for a small Mortgage Loan Originator team.
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting and closing are secured timely.
• Establish referral sources with real estate brokers, builders and others.
• Recruit, interview and retain talent through development and engagement.
• Collaborate with U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other lines to grow relationships.
