Job summary

Cornerstone Home Lending, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, is seeking a Licensed Production Associate to assist the Loan Officer, support Realtors and clients, and help secure mortgage financing with accuracy and care.

You will monitor closings, stay current on market changes, adhere to regulations, and use CRM tools to track progress, plan meetings, and promote loan products. A strong service mindset and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with CRM and database tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to Realtors and Clients.
• Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely closings.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay up‑to‑date on market changes.
• Comply with mortgage lending laws and regulations.
• Communicate with borrowers, processors, operations staff, title companies, and Realtors to expedite the mortgage process.
• Request and follow up on required documentation from clients.
• Disclose and submit loans to the Operations Department.
• Perform basic income calculations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Meet time‑frame goals and ensure on‑time closings.

We are searching for a Licensed Production Associate with strong time management skills, organization, good work ethic, and outstanding customer service skills.

What you’ll do

• Provide a warm welcome to Realtors and Clients
• Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely closings
• Maintain product knowledge and stay up‑to‑date on changes to market conditions
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending
• Communicate with borrowers, processors, operations staff, title companies, Realtors, and others to expedite the mortgage process
• Request and follow up on required documentation from clients
• Disclose and submit loans to the Operations Department – lots of attention to detail
• Perform basic income calculations
• Provide extraordinary customer service to both internal and external customers
• Meet goals regarding time frames – we always close our clients on time
• Work within a database
• Plan and set up lunch‑ins, meetings, and related events
• Market, service, and promote the Company's loan products

What you’ll need to be successful

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer and technology‑related skills
• Must be extremely organized
• Computer savvy and strong ability to pick up quickly on new systems
• DU is a plus
• Ability to follow up with multiple prospects daily
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills required
• CRM/Salesforce experience and knowledge of working within a database – a plus
• Professional demeanor
• Self‑motivated
• NMLS license (preferred)
