Job summary

The Mortgage Post Closer at Fidelity Bank performs quality reviews on all loans and ensures documentation compliance and accuracy. They input loan data for transfer to Investors and submit files to the purchasing Investor promptly according to guidelines.

They will communicate with Investors, clear post-closing conditions, and update notes in the Loan Origination System. This role supports timely delivery to avoid penalties and ensures accuracy throughout the closing process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 2 years Mortgage Post Closing/Processing/Underwriting/Closing experience or equivalent.
• Strong time management, with ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Receive, perform quality review, and electronically stack and scan files to investor specifications.
• Daily reconcile investor exception reports and determine required documentation to clear conditions.
• Identify missing documentation and contact appropriate parties to obtain corrected information.
• Communicate with investors to clarify requirements and obtain waivers when needed.
• Update Loan Origination System notes based on investor suspense reports.
• Review and obtain purchase advice for the accounting department.
