Job summary

Fidelity Bank in Greensboro, NC seeks a Mortgage Closer/Funder to ensure closing documents are prepared accurately and timely while maintaining high levels of customer service with internal and external customers and business partners.

This role audits loan files, prepares closing documents per investor guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, NCHFA), and balances wires for closings. It also involves pre-closing audits, data entry in Encompass, CD reviews, and funding coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4 years mortgage experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with purchase and refinance transactions for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and NCHFA programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-closing audit of closing and compliance documentation.
• Complete data entry in Encompass to generate closing instructions and documents.
• Review CD for accuracy and tolerance variations.
• Review and clear all underwriting conditions prior to closing.
• Request funding wires and review funding documents.
• Assist post-closing in obtaining corrections to closing documents.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Management.
