Job summary

Travel to client locations may be required to promote mortgage solutions and build relationships. Applicants should have an Associates degree and sales experience, with knowledge of FHA/VA rules and real estate law, plus strong math and communication

Qualifications

Associates degree and 2 years sales experience, or a combined minimum of 4 years higher education and/or relevant work experience including 2 years sales.
Thorough knowledge of FHA/VA regulations, conventional loan requirements and real estate law.
Proven sales ability.
Strong mathematical skills.
Self-motivated and well-organized.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with individuals at all income levels and peers professionally.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow through on details.

Responsibilities

Interview applicants to collect and analyze income, assets, debts and credit data.
Independently assess applicant’s credit worthiness and determine loan eligibility.
Advise borrowers on mortgage programs and bank products.
Cultivate mortgage business and promote bank products; travel to meet clients.
Negotiate loan terms and bind the bank; ensure regulatory compliance.
