Yourcnb is actively seeking a Mortgage Originator to build and maintain a quality referral network, prospecting realtors and builders to source mortgage opportunities. You will handle loan applications, evaluate credit data, and keep customers informed on loan progress.

Ideal candidates possess strong communication, self-motivation, and experience in mortgage lending; travel is required as part of relationship development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or 4 years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospects for new mortgage lending opportunities internally and externally.
• Responds to referrals.
• Develops a network of referral sources including realtors and builders.
• Completes mortgage applications for submission to processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and documents progress.
• Keeps knowledge of new loan programs and products.
• Manages a portfolio of loans and relationships.
• Complies with lending practices and regulations.
• Handles customer service inquiries.
