Job summary

C&N is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator II to join our Mortgage Lending team. You will originate and underwrite residential mortgages, build referral networks, and guide clients toward homeownership with integrity and service-first mindset.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years of customer service banking experience, a Bachelor's degree, and NMLS certification within a year. Travel for client meetings and community involvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4–6 years of related experience in a customer service setting, preferably in banking.
• NMLS certification within 1 year of employment.
• Strong sales, relationship management, and market awareness.

Responsibilities

• Originate and underwrite conforming and non-conforming residential mortgages while maintaining accuracy and client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage relationships with referral sources to generate new business.
• Interview clients, assess financial needs, and provide personalized mortgage solutions.
• Cross-sell additional financial solutions across deposits, insurance, investments, and trusts.
• Engage with the community to promote C&N and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, compliant loan closings.
