Job summary

Wealthfront MOps in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a mortgage processing professional to join our efficient, automation-driven origination team. You will review loan files, coordinate between operations and sales, and manage a full pipeline from disclosures to closing.

Candidates should have 2+ years in retail mortgage processing, a Mortgage Loan Originator license, knowledge of Conventional Conforming and Jumbo guidelines, and familiarity with TRID/HMDA regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years mortgage processing experience in a retail environment
• Knowledge of TRID and HMDA regulations
• Understanding of state and federal lending regulations

Responsibilities

• Review loan file and gather items needed for final loan approval
• Liaison between operational and sales departments
• Order supporting documentation
• Evaluate loan applications for reasonableness and escalate when needed
• Prioritize daily workload to ensure a delightful client experience
• Manage a full pipeline from disclosures to closing
• Communicate with third-party vendors to finalize the application
• Ensure adherence to investor and regulatory guidelines
• Proactively maintain loan pipeline, tasks and objectives
• Contribute to a positive work environment and company culture
