Job Description

American Home Saver offers the opportunity to start a part‑time business while maintaining your full‑time job, or to transition to a full‑time career. As a Mortgage Modification Specialist (1099 Independent Contractor) you will meet homeowners who are delinquent on their mortgage, facing foreclosure (received NOD) or imminent default. Your responsibility is to fully explain how the American Home Saver- Texas Mortgage Assistance Program can help them save their home and get back on their feet. You will collect all documentation required to complete the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP), including pay stubs, mortgage statements, bank statements, and W‑2. We will provide a minimum of 5 pre‑qualified leads per week, and you may also share our services with anyone who may need them. There are no territory restrictions.

Qualifications

We are seeking individuals with a background in Home Loan Preservation or Loss Mitigation, with at least one year of experience working in Home Preservation or Loss Mitigation with customer interaction. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, pass a criminal background check, have dependable transportation with proof of current liability insurance, and access to a computer and an active smart or Android cellular phone.
