Job summary

First State Bank in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to work onsite at the Chesterfield Mortgage office. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple steps in mortgage file setup, from application through closing, with a 40-hour work week.

You will order appraisals and title work, upload documents to the loan origination system, maintain data integrity, and ensure compliance with Truth-In-Lending, RESPA, HMDA, and related regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending disclosures and the Encompass System is required.
• Two to three years related experience and/or training required. Four to five years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must have experience with automated underwriting systems (DU/LP/GUS).

Responsibilities

• Set up mortgage loan application files accurately and completely.
• Order appraisals, title work, and other vendor services.
• Upload documentation to the loan origination system and maintain data integrity.
• Ensure processing complies with TILA, Reg Z, Reg B, HMDA and RESPA regulations.
• Maintain open communications with lenders, borrowers, realtors and title companies.
