Job summary

Inter is seeking a Mortgage Operations professional in Miami to manage mortgage loans from application to closing. You will ensure fast, complete, and compliant files while delivering a superior client experience for borrowers, many of whom are Brazilian or foreign nationals buying property in the U.S.

Join a team that emphasizes accuracy, automation, and adherence to regulatory standards. The role requires on-site presence in Miami and strong Excel and document-management skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience in mortgage processing (3+ year).
• Advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review completeness of borrower documents (income, assets, ID, property).
• Build and organize loan files for underwriting.
• Order and follow up on appraisal, title, insurance and other third parties.
• Keep borrowers, loan officers and internal teams updated on loan status.
• Make sure every file is complete, compliant and audit-ready.
• Help improve and automate processes, using AI tools in daily work.

Your mission is to make each loan move fast, with complete and compliant files, and a great experience for our clients - many of them Brazilians and foreign nationals buying property in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience in mortgage processing (3+ year).
• Advanced Excel.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Available to work on-site in Miami.

Preferred Qualifications

• Portuguese and/or Spanish.
• Experience with foreign national, non-QM or DSCR loans.
• Experience with a Loan Origination System (e.g., Encompass) and CRM.
• Active use of AI tools.
• Mortgage processing courses or certifications.
