Job summary

Inter in Miami is seeking a Mortgage Operations professional to manage mortgage loans from application to closing, ensuring fast processing with complete, compliant files and a stellar client experience for borrowers, including Brazilians and foreign nationals buying in the U.S.

You will collect and review borrower documents, build files for underwriting, order appraisals and title work, and keep borrowers, loan officers, and internal teams updated on loan status.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage processing (3+ years).
• Proficient in advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work on-site in Miami and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review borrower documents (income, assets, ID, property).
• Build and organize loan files for underwriting.
• Order and follow up on appraisal, title, insurance and other third parties.
• Keep borrowers, loan officers and internal teams updated on loan status.
• Make sure every file is complete, compliant and audit‑ready.
• Help improve and automate processes, using AI tools in daily work.

You will join our Mortgage Operations team in Miami and manage mortgage loans from application to closing. • Collect and review completeness of borrower documents (income, assets, ID, property).
• Build and organize loan files for underwriting.
• Order and follow up on appraisal, title, insurance and other third parties.
• Keep borrowers, loan officers and internal teams updated on loan status.
• Make sure every file is complete, compliant and audit‑ready.
• Help improve and automate processes, using AI tools in daily work.

Requirements

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience in mortgage processing (3+ year).
• Advanced Excel.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Available to work on‑site in Miami.

Preferred Qualifications

• Portuguese and/or Spanish.
• Experience with foreign national, non‑QM or DSCR loans.
• Experience with a Loan Origination System (e.g., Encompass) and CRM.
• Active use of AI tools.
• Mortgage processing courses or certifications.
