Northpointe Bank is seeking an experienced Loan Processor (Loan Partner 3) to deliver an exceptional client experience while moving loans from lock through funding. You will own your pipeline, communicate proactively, solve problems, and collaborate with a high-performing team.

The role emphasizes accountability, collaboration across underwriting, closing, funding, and quality control teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of mortgage processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and investor guidelines.
• Experience with DU/DO and Loan Prospector.
• Experience using major Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review all incoming loans within one business day of receipt.
• Review approximately five loans daily and coordinate with Loan Officer.
• Verify loan file completeness using the pre-underwrite checklist.
• Analyze documentation related to cash, credit, income, and borrower capacity.
• Collaborate with Loan Partners and Loan Officer to obtain missing docs for underwriting.
• Submit complete loan files to underwriting within three business days.
• Aim for 95% of initial CLAs with 10 or fewer conditions.
• Translate underwriting conditions into borrower-friendly language.
• Package and submit conditions promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a two-touch maximum to Clear-to-Close.
