Job summary

Northpointe Bank Inc. is seeking a Loan Processor to manage end-to-end mortgage loan processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a superior borrower experience.

The role emphasizes organization, timely closings, and excellent customer service. You will review submissions, coordinate appraisals and title work, collaborate with underwriters and loan officers, and maintain product knowledge across government and conventional loan programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years of mortgage loan processing and/or basic underwriting experience.
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with loan products including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage loan origination systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit loan submissions for accuracy and completeness.
• Order and manage third-party services (appraisals, title work, payoffs, etc.).
• Collaborate with underwriters, loan officers (LOs), and LO assistants to prepare files for clear-to-close.
• Manage an active loan pipeline and meet target closing dates.
• Maintain knowledge of loan products and investor requirements (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, etc.).
• Support centralized disclosure operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Safeguard borrower data and maintain confidentiality.
