Job summary

Union Square Credit Union in Wichita Falls, TX seeks a Mortgage Loan Processor to gather and analyze member financials and determine loan qualifying status. You will ensure timely completion of all steps in the mortgage process and serve as the primary administrative contact for Mortgage Loan Officers.

Daily duties include ordering and reviewing documents, coordinating with processing, underwriting, closing and external partners, and documenting loan files in originations software.

Qualifications

• Previous mortgage loan processing experience is required.
• Knowledge of real estate lending practices and regulatory compliance, including RESPA and TILA, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, review, and analyze documents (survey, appraisal, credit reports, title work, insurance) to determine loan viability.
• Review credit packages for accuracy and ensure timely disclosures and underwriting readiness.
• Assist residential loan applicants by verifying data completeness and adherence to standards.
• Serve as the primary administrative contact for Mortgage Loan Officers and manage calendars and inquiries.
• Coordinate with processing, underwriting, closing and external partners to keep loans moving toward closing.
• Document loan files in mortgage origination software as required.
• Process purchases, refinances, home equity, and construction loans.
