Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage processing and underwriting support.
• Ability to review income, assets and credit documents.
• Familiarity with mortgage regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review credit, income, assets, and collateral to determine underwriting needs.
• Communicate document requirements to borrowers and referral sources.
• Obtain verifications of employment, deposits, and title information to validate data.
• Utilize DU, LP and GUS to evaluate agency eligible transactions and needed docs.
• Collaborate with underwriting and closing to facilitate a compliant transaction.
• Respond to post-closing requests to ensure timely loan sales.
• Conduct weekly pipeline meetings with sales and provide updates to the team.
• Licensing to be obtained when requested (NMLS licensing, bonds, and other certifications).
