Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Mortgage Processor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry, preferably with a broker or Independent Mortgage Bank. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in processing conventional and government loans, managing multiple files efficiently, and ensuring compliance with all underwriting and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify borrower information, including income, credit, and assets.
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors to facilitate timely closings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines.
• Communicate with borrowers regarding documentation requirements and loan status.
• Maintain proficiency in loan origination systems (LOS) and automated underwriting systems (AUS).
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry, preferably at a broker or Independent Mortgage Bank.
• Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA loan guidelines.
• Experience working with multiple lenders and loan programs.
