Job summary

MSGCU, a Michigan-based credit union, seeks an experienced Real Estate Loan Processor to handle loan applications from intake to closing. You will verify documents, prepare disclosures, coordinate with underwriting, and ensure regulatory compliance (TILA/TRID/HMDA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• FHA lending experience preferred.
• Encompass experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Documentation: review third-party documents (title, appraisal, purchase agreements, surveys, flood certs, homeowners insurance).
• Ensure regulatory compliance with TILA, TRID, HMDA; prepare disclosures and maintain records.
• Coordinate with underwriting and closings; schedule closings with members, title companies, and realtors.
• Maintain effective communication with members, team members, and vendors throughout the loan process.
