Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one to three years related experience.
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Regular onsite attendance.
• Work well with others in a team environment.
• Provide accurate, efficient and exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Maintains knowledge of bank regulations, security and compliance responsibilities, products, policies, procedures and meets deadlines.
• Work with Lenders to gather supporting documentation for income, employment, assets and any required documentation.
• Check loan files for accuracy, completeness, and missing details.
• Distribute necessary disclosures and booklets within regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluating credit histories for the applications and requesting supporting documentation as needed.
• Order title work, appraisals, flood determinations, hazard binders.
• Assist with phone calls and emails directed to the department and finish to completion if possible or direct to the correct person.
• Assist with the income calculations as needed.
• Review residential appraisal reports for completeness, accuracy and adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Lender and regulatory guidelines.
• Work with Appraisers to order and correct the residential appraisals.
• Work with the Closer and Underwriter as needed to collect required information.
• Create accurate residential and consumer closing packages, deeds, titles, title insurance policies, and closing disclosures.
• Properly disburse funds as needed and check for accuracy and balancing.
• Must have good verbal and written communication.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with strict deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new concepts to grow and advance.
• Satisfactorily completes all training required for the position.
• Other duties as assigned.
