Job summary
Jet HomeLoans is seeking a results-oriented Loan Originator to generate new business and maintain client referrals. You will close loan packages with strong service and communication, leveraging mortgage products and guidelines.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in mortgage origination, CA NMLS licensure, and experience with Encompass, SimpleNexus or Candid. Weekend on-call rotation and MS Office proficiency are valued. Health, 401(k) and PTO are offered.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a mortgage loan originator.
- NMLS licensure in CA.
- Experience with Encompass, SimpleNexus or Candid.
- Strong relationship, sales, communication and MS Office skills.
- Understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA and down-payment assistance loans.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to move loans through the process.
- Monitor sales pipeline, meet sales expectations, generate new business.
- Build relationships with clients and explain mortgage options.
- Prepare mortgage presentations and total cost analyses for clients.
- Package files for loan opener/processing staff and review CDs with clients.
