Job summary

Farmers National Bank of Canfield is seeking a Mortgage Loan Consultant to source, qualify and originate 1-4 family mortgage loans in the local market. You will also coach branch staff on mortgage products, referral cues and processes to drive cross-sell opportunities.

In this role you will build relationships with real estate professionals, maintain compliance with all regulations and manage mortgage paperwork from application to funding.

Qualifications

• 1 year of mortgage lending and/or processing experience.
• NMLS licensing or eligibility required.
• Familiarity with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines (FNMA/FHLMC).
• Knowledge of FHA/VA programs.

Responsibilities

• Source, qualify and originate 1-4 family mortgage loans.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities with other bank divisions.
• Support branch teams and develop Centers Of Influence for new business.
• Collect and process mortgage paperwork; prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with government and regulatory requirements.
