Job summary

Envoy Mortgage seeks a Loan Originator to provide residential mortgage loans and generate leads by contacting realtors, builders, past clients and referral partners, while delivering strong communication and support to management and underwriting.

The role involves promoting products to real estate agents, educating borrowers, ensuring compliance, coordinating documents, and maintaining an active NMLS license with ongoing education; the position is primarily commission-based and may require

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Loan Originator, LOA or Processor, 5+ years preferred
• Knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and mortgage processes, procedures, and documentation
• Working knowledge of DU/DO, LP, and originating systems; Encompass experience preferred
• Excellent follow-up, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to maintain NMLS license and complete continuing education
• Must have NMLS and SAFE, or able to obtain within 30-90 days

Responsibilities

• Promote Envoy's products to Real Estate Agents, Home Buyers, and referral sources
• Prospect and procure new loan applications by meeting with and presenting products to potential referral sources
• Educate borrowers on current offerings and programs for which they qualify
• Ensure all marketing is compliant
• Create and maintain data from new loan applications in origination system
• Review loans in process daily and determine priorities
• Submit completed loans for approval and communicate status to borrowers and agents
• Maintain active NMLS license and stay current with guidelines
